The SUV’s first-time-ever V badging comes with several perks. The carmaker now offers a selectable V-mode for drivers, which is also customizable in terms of performance driving settings, and the ride height is also reduced by 0.8-inches. A launch control function enables the SUV to make the 0-60 mph sprint in just 4.4 seconds.

Apart from this, the car’s side profile beautifully shows off its sheer length and massive 22-inch wheels that fill the archers. Electronically limited standard Magnetic Ride Control and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension are available as standard, and V-series badging is also available throughout the exterior and interior. For example, the driver, front passenger doors, liftgate, and the steering wheel are endorsed with the V-badge.

For a vehicle that weighs over 6000 lbs, it surely needs a powerful engine to haul its mass and tow some. Cadillac claims it to be the most powerful full-size truck-based SUV that one can find, which may be an easy claim as most full-size truck-based SUVs do not have a performance version yet.

This Cadillac uses a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine, similar to CT5-V Blackwing’s engine, which means that it can produce 682 HP and 653 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and the SUV is predominantly offered as an all-wheel drive.

In some cases, the vehicle can send up to 70 percent of the power to the rear wheels as it has a limited-slip differential on the rear axle, but in most driving scenarios, it is split into 50-50. The hand-built engine delivers enough performance to accelerate the vehicle from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds which is an impressive number considering the overall weight of the SUV. The inclusion of air suspension also makes the ride plush and comfortable.

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V, with a length of 227-inches and a height of 76.5-inches, is one of the largest SUVs. Besides, the vehicle boasts a wheelbase of 120.9-inches and width of 81.1-inches, liberating room for passengers. In terms of design, a massive front grille, LED headlamps, and vertically stacked LED daytime running lamps give the car a sharp and wider stance.
